Rules Of Halal Dating For Young Muslims

By Rebecca Ross

Dating is something that precedes race, religion and even nationality in almost every part of the world and now people are just dating out of love without any limitations involved. Among the Muslim community, courting is not a common of an act as there are certain religious beliefs that will not be of the biggest support to the activity but Halal Dating is slowly changing this.

There are rules that define this activity and are all in accordance with the religion and this has seen a growth in the beliefs of courting held by many. These rules are not meant to limit one into a number of things they do while courting but they are meant to create harmony between the activity and the religious beliefs that are observed by the observers of this religion.

The first rule one has to follow when courting is to learn the virtue of self-control in full understanding and adhere by it. This is so as to have the ability to control your personal felling hence not letting them get in the way with God. When one does this then you prove your respect to God, your future partner and also you respect your own body by not giving in to earthly wants.

Follow the rules of Allah and do the right Taaruf that will act as a guide in your relationship. This is similar to courting just that it mainly involves a number of considerations to look into and to carefully evaluate. First, you need to establish that you have well stable finances to support yourself and your partner and also have enough knowledge on how to keep your marriage going over time.

The next rule is one that is for those who have not yet landed that special someone or have already met them but have not yet declared their true feelings to them. So if you have found that one person follows your feelings and declare your love for them and your intentions to want to marry them and if not yet, it is wise to seek help from those you trust to help in finding your partner.

At this stage, it is already established who you intend to marry and you are now both ready to take it to the step of marriage. Now you can start to date in Taaruf and know the type of courting that is acknowledged in Islam in order to go by the activity in the right manner. It is also at this stage where one gets the chance to decide whether or not they want to continue dating.

These courting rules are very advantageous to you as a person and as a devout Muslim as they help you to keep your purity. Whenever self-control becomes hard then one is advised to fast and pray to Allah and this strengthens your relationship with God and helps you to keep your faith. This also distances you from the immoral desires of the flesh.

Not every person will be fully supportive of this and this often leaves some creating the criteria in which it occurs. When one is not yet ready for marriage and has already engaged in halal courting this becomes a golden chance to build an intimate relationship with God.
